Love

Jesus’ love is unconditional and therefore so is ours. We are committed to be a church where people can feel love and belonging rather than judgement or condemnation. We often say Bethel is the perfect place for imperfect people. God loved us enough to give us the Christ, therefore we give ourselves to you!

The worship at Bethel is vibrant, genuine, alive, and inclusive. Some would say the worship is contemporary others would say it’s traditional. We would say it’s in Spirit and truth. God’s presence visits us in every service. Come worship with us and view the latest messages on our Facebook page.

Bethel is a church in tune with the community. We commit to being present and bringing much needed information and resources to the people. Community is an essential part of our mission. Annually we bring health screenings, eye exams, food and fellowship during our annual Community Block Party. We provide HIV & AIDS Awareness through our family to family program. We combat Human Trafficking through awareness and education initiatives and support for survivors. We connect seniors to county resources and meals for those who cannot get around.

We believe that Jesus came to save the mind, body, soul, and social condition. Beth-El is Hebrew for the House of God. We at Bethel see ourselves as the presence of God’s loving grace, mercy, forgiveness and advocacy in Woodbury, New Jersey and beyond. As a growing community our vision is to greatly expand our ability to help those in need and empower those who are weak and broken. We invite you to come join us and see God’s deliverance and salvation at work in your life!

Sanctification is the process of being made holy. We believe God sanctifies us through the spiritual disciplines of prayer, study, meditation, worship, word, fellowship and fasting. Come visit us for worship, Bible study, men and women’s fellowship, our prayer line or women’s devotional. View the latest messages and Bible studies on our Facebook page.

Social Justice is central to our religion and our mission. Bethel does voter registration, mobilization and actively participates in our county NAACP Chapter. We host forums on vital issues concerning our city, county and state. We advocate in City Hall and the State House for just public policy for people who otherwise would have no voice. Bethel actively participates in the fight to end mass incarceration, poverty, affordable housing and segregation in NJ’s public Schools.

Our Mission is to Sow Christ's love throughout the world by being the epicenter of worship in sanctuary and community, expanding the kingdom one soul at a time, through discipleship, salvation, sanctification and social justice.

A Restored Vision to and for the Multitudes

Rev. 7:9 (NRSV) After this I looked, and there was a great multitude that no one could count

God has given Bethel a vision of expansion to and for the multitudes. God will use intentional full gospel ministries which reach all of Gloucester and Camden County and Philadelphia to expand Bethel’s discipleship (membership) to 1600-2000 within 25 years. God will expand our ministerial staff to support; outreach, music, dance, theatrical, administrative, mental health, youth, transportation, public relations and multi media ministries. God will also expand our community outreach programs to include youth and senior services, support for single parents, after school programs, family services, addiction counseling, and housing assistance. God will also expand our worship to multiple services (including Spanish Language) and Bethel Disciple’s spiritual discipline through a strong discipleship mentoring model. Finally, we believe God will expand our assets to support this vision through property purchases to make affordable housing available and a Worship/Community Outreach Center.
