Leviticus 10:10 (NLT) 10 You must distinguish between what is sacred and what is common, between what is ceremonially unclean and what is clean.
One day I had a debate on Facebook with a preacher about wether or not it was ok for preachers to gamble. As I looked through this preacher’s profile, I noticed invitations to secular parties, a lot of secular music and suggestive pictures, and things that would make a laymen’s profile seem sketchy. Trust me I like to let loose and relax as should every minister. We are human beings with the same desires as everyday people; but our lives are marked. We must be careful in what we do, when we do it, how we do it and where we do it. If people look at us and can’t distinguish the sacred and the secular; we have no business in the pulpit.
Lord restore all of us who preach Your word and serve Your people to a sense if holiness and righteousness despite our short comings
In Jesus Name
