15 I will tell everyone about your righteousness. All day long I will proclaim your saving power, though I am not skilled with words.*

Testimony time is the black church tradition is sacred. Everyone has the opportunity to talk about God’s goodness and everyone becomes a preacher. Many are nervous to speak in front of crowds, others are confused as to wether they should speak openly about their secrets and still others are afraid because they feel they do not have the gift of speaking publicly. The beauty of the testimony is how fear is destroyed by the passion to tell someone else how good God is! The sacred space created when someone is testifying for the first time and tears of joy run down their face because they just have to tell it. 
Lord let me always have a testimony in my heart for Your goodness and Your grace
