It is so important that we pass our experience with God on to the next generation. It was our cry to God that propelled a nation to shift. Until we understand that we will always struggle to build legacy, tradition and hope for the future. We must connect our young people’s struggle for freedom now to the struggle of our ancestors in the past. With that connection comes the realization of God’s place in our Exodus. Without that connection Ferguson, Staten Island, and Sanford would all have been for nothing.

Lord show us how to teach our children the stories of old. Open their ears to listen so they can see You
