Teach Me Not to Panic

Psalms 31:22 (NLT) 22 In panic I cried out, “I am cut off from the Lord!” But you heard my cry for mercy and answered my call for help.

Our first instinct when trouble comes is to panic and blame God. Some how our trial is the result of God leaving us or neglecting us. The Psalmist correctly captures how we all feel in the beginning of a crisis. But God. Aren’t those two words the two words that always pop up to separate our panic from our peace? But God heard my cry and answered my call for help. The Lord always shows up and rescues us from our trial and from ourselves.
Lord when the storm comes teach me not to panic In Jesus Name
